Nice to meet you. What do you do for a living?
Well, I am an Alumna of FIT and now I work as an artist and freelance graphic designer. My debut solo show, “Starry,” is current on view at Le Salon d’Art in the Lower East Side of Manhattan.

Wow! Congratulations, I will have to stop by! So tell me, what are you wearing?
I am wearing a suede dress from H&M. My multicolored bangles from a street market in Pushkar, India.  The hat is Wyatt & Smyth, from the Buffalo Exchange in the East Village. The gladiator sandals I bought at a market in New Dehli, India, and the leather backpack from Urban Outfitters.

Is there anything interesting I should know about this particular song/artist?
Well, it’s a classic psychedelic rock’n'roll jam,  definitely a vagabond, ‘do what ya want’ kind of feeling. For me it’s been circulating my playlist, because I have been revisiting music of this genre lately.  When it comes to psychedelic rock — Jimi Hendrix is king.

Finally, if I had to hear one song on your playlist right now, what would it be and how did you find it?
“Tweak your Nipple,” Faithless from their most recent album The Dance.
Faithless, is a music group from the UK,  they definitely don’t get as much recognition in the United States. Dido and Judge Jules are both members of this band. They know their music and have a fantastic sense of mixing and mastering dance music.  They also add witty lyrics and have a unique sound. Faithless, always makes a point to stay on top of current events and they make a point to speak out for what they believe.
