Sonic Youth, “Candle” 

Tell me about that song.
Well, Sonic Youth is a really great New York band. You know, from Brooklyn…they recorded on Greene Street. Beyond all that, they are one of “the” bands of the 80′s
*I did a little research- Daydream Nation, Sonic Youth’s fifth album  is one of 50 recordings chosen by the Library of Congress to be added to the National Recordings Registry in 2006.

Finally, Rachel, if I had to listen to one song on your playlist now what would it be and why?
Patti Smith’s “Land,” it’s just so long and so awesome!
